You may have seen the images I shot for Clear For Men on the portfolio page here on my website but I wanted to delve a little deeper into the why behind the images I took for the business founded by Louis Watkins.

After speaking with Louis, learning about his brand and the “why” behind it, and watching him connect with his customers & followers so genuinely through live streams on his platforms, I knew the direction I wanted to take with these images.

I wanted to capture the fast-paced, demanding, working world that most of the men in our lives live in. The early alarms, endless emails, the quiet pressure to keep going. The shirt, the worn leather shoes, the watch, the belt, the AirPods, even the aftershave, all speak to that rhythm of always being “on”.

But tucked inside all of that is something softer, a small reminder to pause. The Clear For Men products stand for that 5-minute break, the breath between meetings, the moment to check in with yourself.

Because the men we care about deserve more than just getting through the day, they deserve space to rest, reset and actually feel alive.

And I wanted to capture that.

For every man quietly carrying the weight of the day.

Louis started his men's skincare brand Clear For Men, after going through his own mental health journey. His goal is to not only help men feel more confident in their skin, but be a role model and show that talking about vulnerability isn't weak. He is breaking the stigma around male mental health, one bottle at a time.

He named his debut product, an invigorating facial cleanser 'Take Five' to serve as a daily reminder for men to pause, take five minutes, and prioritise what truly matters: their wellbeing.

This skincare brand is about more than just skin; it's a moment to pause, reflect, and remember that it's okay to not be okay.

Louis donates 15% of profits from each sale to support Calm and Mind in support of Mental Health awareness.
